In the Pursuit of freshness.
Hey Y’all. My name is Parker, and i love coffee. I am an Air Force veteran, and i can credit the air force with my love of coffee.
It began with just needing that “pick-me-up” each morning, especially when working off-shifts. It became something much more when I went to a 6 week class, and there were some combat controllers, pJs, and other operators(real manly dudes)in that class. i Couldn’t let them see me put cream and sugar in my coffee, so i choked down black coffee for 6 weeks. by the end of that class, i actually liked the taste of black coffee. after that, i was hooked and began to learn the ins and outs of the coffee world.
Fast Forward to being stationed in Wichita, and we found a place that roasted coffee locally-that was eye-opening to say the least. Every place we’ve lived since then, we looked for a local place that roasted their coffee in house.
the next logical step (or illogical, depending on your perspective) was to learn how to roast my own coffee. that journey began in 2022, and what a journey it has been, and it has led you here!
I cannot begin to express my Gratitude to everyone that has helped educate me, and encourage me to get me to where I am today. I hope to share with everyone just how good a fresh cup of coffee can truly be. Thank you for checking out tombs hollow, and thank you for reading these ramblings. i can’t wait to roast some coffee for you.
